Bethel CT Tanker 1

Bethel FD took delivery of the new Tanker 1 in late November '05.

The 1968 Mack "R" has been replaced by the new 2500 gallon tanker built by 4 guys on a Mack Granite chassis. It has a 400hp Mack motor, allision 6 speed automatic, tandem rear axle, 500gpm pto pump, rear mounted 3 way air operated dump valve, motorized fold a tank lowering system, back up camera, and a custom front bumper to hold the air horns and the federal Q.

I first saw pics from this truck when they were on the 4Guys webpage- looks like an incredibly sweet truck, and the best part is, ITS A MACK!
