City of Poughkeepsie Fire

Ok, I know I am a total loser for posting this, but I am so bored, and thought it was pretty cool. So I buffed my 1st fire today. I missed the initial dispatch, but heard the update, and transmission of 10-75 for the City of Poughkeepsie (Dutchess Co. NY for those of you who don't know) and was sitting in my car up here at school. Between certain classes, I go to move my car from one parking lot to another, where I keep my scanner, heard it, and thought, what the hey? So I made it there after initial suppression, they had it knocked down pretty quick from what I heard. I have sent photos to EMTBravo, and hope he has time some day to put them up, but I do understand it takes time and effort, so thanks ahead of time if he does! Ok, I am done with my ranting and raving, time to get back to class!

You go to Marist or DCC? I go to Marist, and have to say buffing is a problem with the few ppl that are members of Fairview FD. Ive seen freshman (who are not allowed to have cars) carrying pagers....i guess they are gonna run to the next hot job...and have had pagers go off in some of my classes. Never understood the logic behind it. None the less glad to hear the fire was extingushed quickly!

They have been emailed to Mr. EMTBravo himself, just have to wait for him to get a chance to put them up on EMTBravo.com! Once they are up, and you would like any copies of certain pictures in particular, get in contact with me, and I can get you whichever you would like!

Also, like I mentioned before, I do not have any pics of suppression, or venting efforts, just some overhaul, and packing hose. Hope that helps some!

Make you charge a ridiculously large amount for these photos, because like anything else the "artist's" first work is always worth alot.
