Description Of Incident: Fire on all floors through an electrical conduit. Heavy fire across top floor, cockloft and through roof of the "A" wing.

0649hrs- B-17 using 2 and 2 for fire in a stove and electrical conduit in the wall behind the stove in Apt. 3B. Trucks opening up and checking apartments above and below.

0700hrs- B-17 rpts using All-Hands for fire in Apt. 3B extended to Apt. 2B. Fire is K/D and U/C with the All-Hands. Building is a 6-story 200X100 OMD. N/S/U.

0707hrs- B-17 retransmitting 10-75 for fire in the walls on the 4th floor. S/C additional Truck (L-55). L-19 FAST.

0714hrs- Div. 6 S/C additional Truck (L-59).

0723hrs- Div. 6 transmitting 3rd Alarm for heavy fire in cockloft and fire on 3rd, 5th and 6th floors.

3rd Alarm: B-27 (Staging), E-82, 60, 73; L-45; B-19; E-75; MSU

0724hrs- B-58 responding to Floyd Bennett Field for Air Recon.

0725hrs- Div. 6 transmitting 4th Alarm for fire on 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th floors and into the cockloft, extending through the walls of the "A" and "B" line apartments through a shaft.

4th Alarm: E-45, 88, 94, 48; TL-31, L-42

0741hrs- Div. 6 rpts fire on 3rd through 5th floors is K/D. Co's have very heavy fire in cockloft and are in process of cutting trenches. D/W/H.

0747hrs- S/C (3) Trucks above 4th Alarm, (1) to be a Tower Ladder (L-48, 33, 58).

0757hrs- Div. 6 transmitting 5th Alarm. Heavy fire across entire roof and cockloft of the "A" wing.

0758hrs- Div. 6 req an additional FAST truck, L-19 will be operating as a FAST on the 6th floor. New FAST to report to front of the building. L-34 2nd FAST.

0805hrs- S/C additional Engine (E-84)

0812hrs- Div. 6 reports trench cuts have been completed. Co's moving to an exterior attack. Tower Ladders getting ready to go into operation.

0815hrs- S/C (2) additional B/C's (18, 3)

0818hrs- TL-44 set up in front on Gerard Ave, TL- 45 set up at corner of Gerard and 168th St., TL-31 set up on 168th St. TL-45 going into operation. Car 4A reports heavy fire across top floor and cockloft of the "A" wing and through the roof. Members removed from fire building. D/W/H. Fire is confined to the "A" wing of the building.

0830hrs- (3) Tower Ladders in operation. Placing a 4th Tower Ladder (58) on 168th St. EMS staging at Jerome Ave X 168th to River Ave with (2) MERV's.

0842hrs- (4) Tower Ladders in operation. Multiple L/S/O on adjacent roof tops and on roof of "B" wing.

0843hrs- Car 4 (Chief of Operations Cassano) Transmitting 6th Alarm.

6th Alarm: E-59, 58, 16, 47; TL-46

0934hrs- S/C (2) additional Trucks for relief (TL-17, L-50).

1005hrs- Car 4 rpts P/W/H and prolonged operations. Duration of incident 3 hrs. 21 min.

1039hrs- Car 4 places the fire U/C.
