At this time i am not sure the class Size Limit

Considering the small size of EMT classes these days, I wouldn't be too concerned about the maximum size of the class. The more people that enroll just means the CIC needs to get more CLIs to teach labs. I highly doubt the class will exceed capacity. Just register early if you wish to attend. It would be more likely for the class to be cancelled due to LACK of enrollment.

WAS has a great point. There have been plenty of EMT classes cancelled due to lack of students/enrollment, which is a shame.

I took EMT at CVAC with the instructor(s) who are teaching this upcoming class. My class size was around 2, with some being re-certs. These instructors are excellent, being very dedicated to EMS & instructing and will make certain that you are on the up and up! If any of you are looking into becoming an EMT and this class fits your schedule, i would highly reccomend signing-up for it. I know we're gonna have at least 2 from Buchanan FD enrolling in it.

i know im taking the class and from put valley and there at least 12 ppl coming alone from our corp and about 5 from philipstown and a few from garrison so i think there might be a limit but im not sure i guess well find out at registration.

I am 17 years old and turning 18 in June when can I become certified or when can I take the class?

You just need to be 18 by the test date, in this case on May 18, 2006.

If your brithday is in June, you'll have to wait for a later class.

You MAY be able to delay your state final exam test date if you do not turn 18 until June. I suggest talking to your instructor.
