Yonkerstribune.com has started a crime incident thread.

So please post on it. They are trying to make up for all the non coverage of criminal incidents by what's left of the Journal News. If something close by happens that may migrate to Yonkers, please post.

Example: a burglary team operating in nearby Greenburgh, Bronxville, etc.

Many Thanks. The public reads few incidents in the paper and is lulled into a false sense of security.

P.S.---No kidding, Yonkerstribune.com gets 100K hits a day on average.

Will it be both Fire, Police and Rescue/Ambulance Incident Reports or just Crime Incidents? If all, then that would be terrific news to all here on EMTBravo.net

Just keep it to crime incidents for now please.

In particular, all the ones never appearing in the newspaper that affect us, burglaries, car thefts, muggings, etc.

It's just a supplement to this board which is only read by buffs, while Yonkerstribune.com is read by the public at large.

One very, very interesting tip about a new gang was just posted on it.

So it may also evolve into a tip line for people who may not want to pick up the telephone. And that's a major tool for the cops...

The site averages 100K hits per day. And some FEDS happen to look at it for good reason too.

This is just my 2cents The Yonkers Tribune can be very informing but it is also an outlet for cowards to hide behind their computers an bash people. The internet chat-post rooms would shut down if people had to post their REAL names. J DeMuro YFD
