for pizza Grimaldi's pizza AKA Patsy's pizza best pizza in the country!!!!under the brooklyn bridge cadman plaza straight across from the south street seaport...makes johnnys in mt vernon taste like cardboard w/sauce and mozzarella..

pelham pizza and villagios both in pelham are also awesome.

Best pizza + italian in Pelhams and New Rochelle is MODERN PIZZA (off rt.1 in NR) !!!!!!! Awesome thin crust pies out of a 50-yr old brick oven, amazing fried calamari, unbelievable tomato/mozzarella salad !!!!

OK, it is pricey if you go and have a sit-down dinner (especially w/some wine) but, that is one place where I never eat less than 4 slices....... want 1 right now !

Oh, and there's no staff turnover, so, after a few visits, it's like you're eating at home...

For pizza, 2nd place to Pelham Pizzeria on 5thAve., I like Villagio but it's got too much dough/bread, gets kinda sloppy.....
