Poughkeepsie Fire

This is the pic of the multi fatal fire a few years back in Poughkeepsie. This picture was featured on the front cover of Fire Engineering Magazine. Other pics from thei fire were featured on the front cover of the 1st Responder News thingee, FireLine, and the Poughkeepsie Journal.

That fire was on parker avenue, The fire jumped two buildings south and caught my old fraternity house on fire.... Lost it all.... what a shame

Its ironic, i know people that live there and on Taylor Ave. ive partied there so many times. It gives me an odd feeling seeing that that happened

66Aplha1 is correct - Taylor Avenue - NOT Parker Ave.

Parker Ave had no fatalities - and was actually 2 seperate fires - both 4th Alarms.

My mistake, looked very similar to the pictures that were on The PoJo, didn't even know about the fire on taylor.
