Description Of Incident: Police say a Brentwood man was killed by a Christmas Day fire in his home Sunday.

Suffolk County police and the Brentwood Fire Department responded to the blaze at the multi-family home on South Fifth Avenue. A firefighter discovered the victim on the floor of his room.

The victim’s identity has not yet been released. Police arson and homicide squads are investigating.
