1984? Ambulance from Peekskill (was their 7504, CFD 55B2) now OOS.

1994 Ambulance from Cortlandt (CVAC 88B2, CFD 55B2) still in service, currently awaiting new rig from PL Custom in August '04.

Westchester County Cause and Origin Team

1989? 1404 Ford/Medtec ambulance from Somers, in service

Both of 1405's vehicles are used. Old 1405, from Bedford Hills FD. Current 1405, from ambulance from KBHVAC?.

Westchester County Cause and Origin Teams vehiles were given to the teams so you can't count them. Buying is from 1 dollar to x amount.

Yorktown Fire Districts policy has been not to buy used. They feel it wouldn't be cost affective in buying some one elses problem.

This may change if some thing comes along that would be worth it.

There are many reasons FD get rid of the equipment (apparatus) Before buying a used apparatus from any dealer you should make sure you talk to the guys who used it and see what kind of runs it responded to. There have been many FDNY truck sold and have been in service in other dept for many years. There also has been many of them sold for scrap metal. Just remember the saying Buyer beware. I belive your front line (first due ) apparatus should be never replaced with a used vehiles. It should be up to date with NFPA and be reliable.

Mohegan's previous Rescue 32, an early 1990's E-350 McCoy Miller (number sceme changed to 69B2) originally saw service with Cortlandt VAC until Mohegan bought it from them in the mid 1990's.

PORT CHESTER USED MT KISCO E103 FOR ABOUT A YEAR IN 1994 WHEN 1981 E ONE BLEW UP FOR THE LAST TIME. IT RAN AS E 59 UNTIL IT BROADSIDED A BLAZER GOING TO A HURST TOOL CALL. WHAT A MESS! THE OLD MACK WAS IN SHOCK IN P.C. IT WENT TO MORE CALLS IN ONE YEAR THAN 20 YEARS IN MT KISCO.

I think the 1975 Mack in Fairview was a loaner from KME , I don't think they paid any money for it.

Lake Carmel FD

1972/3?? Ford Tanker, former Oil truck. Disposed of in 1992

1970 Mack CF Telesquirt Served as FDNY E-70. Sold to Wall Township FD in 1992, now serving somewhere in Texas.

17-2-1 and 17-3-1 Twin 1971? Ford pumpers 2-1 was used by the Kent Highway Department, not sure where 3-1 ended up.

Carmels' old 12-4-1 was serving the Carmel Highway department back in the 90's but I don't know if they still have it.

1984 was way to early. Porbably happened closer to 1995 or 1996. I remember Rob Stuck (our LT at the time) driving it down to Abbey in WP when I worked there to see if the Dawsons wanted to buy it. I was there from 1995 to 1996ish.

It was orginaly lime green. It was ordered for FDNY but they didnt

take delivery. The sales man from KME bought it and sold it to MVFD.

WESTCHESTER COUNTY AIRPORT IN RYE BROOK MANTAINED DURING THE 50"S AND 60"S A STUZ FROM COS COB AND MACK FROM RYE CITY. THEY WERE REPLACED IN THE EARLY 70"S BY AIR GUARD EQ. AND A INTERNATIONAL FOAM UNIT.THE BASE STA. RAIDO WAS FROM PORT CHESTER AND STILL HAD KEF 213 PORT CHESTER ON IT!
