ocff75...i am not sure if FDVA Montrose will be hiring, but i figured i'd give you a few helpful hints. You must be a certified EMT to be hired, and if you have military time, it is definately a plus! You may also want to check with the FDVA-Castle Point in Dutchess to see if they are hiring!

i have posted info on the Montrose/Castle Point VA FF/EMT poistions. I did so a few weeks ago in the employment forum. Check the date to see if the vacancy is still current. You definitely need to be a certified EMT to be considered. Good luck if anybody goes for it...

OC- I heard their pay is in the 50's and they just settled a 3 year deal w/ 4% annually. I think they work 24's as well.
