Location: 6200 Block of Melody Ln. and Hemlock

Dallas Fire Rescue responded to a structure fire in 3 story high rise condo this morning. The fire went to 4-alarms before bringing it under control. As of 7:45am CST a 2nd alarm assignment is still on the scene.

Units still operating: E-17, E-28, E-37, E-41, E-48, E-55, E-57, T-17, T-37, T-41, T-57, R-28, R-37, BC-3, BC-4, SP525, SP684, SP685, SP780, SP784, SP806, SP825, SP885, and SP900.

Whats an SP?

SP is special placement apparatus. Like SP 825 is the Mobile Command Center. SP 806 is the Division 1 Deputy Chief. One of them is the Air/Light Truck, and another one I know is the Maitenance Division rig.
