Volunteer Past Chief Needs Our Help!!!!

For those who may not know, The son of Past Chief Jimmy Arena, Katonah FD, was diagnosed with a 3" brain tumor on January 22, 2004. Only three days later, he underwent a 9 hour surgery, in which approx 60-70% of the tumor was able to be removed. "Jimmy-Boy" arena is only 4 years old, and will have to undergo weekly chemotherapy, for the next year. on APRIL 1, 2003 FROM 2:30PM TO 8:00PM, THERE WILL BE A BLOOD DRIVE AT THE KATONAH FIREHOUSE TO HELP HIM. THE ARENA FAMILY IS COUNTING ON THE FIRE SERVICE FAMILY TO HELP IN THEIR TIME OF NEED!

April 1, 2004 2:30-8:00pm, Katonah Firehouse.

Update: The turnout was great, in fact, people had to be turned away! On April 16, same time, same place there will be another drive, so if you would like to donate and couldnt make it, or were turned away, please come out! The Croton Falls FD is having a pancake breakfast to benefit the Arena Family on 4/4/04, From 8am until 12pm. All proceeds will go to the Jimmy Boy Arena Fund.

A Second Blood Drive is taking place today at the Katonah Fire Department, 65 Bedford Road, Katonah NY. Anyone who is interested in donating is welcome. The drive is scheduled to run from 2:30PM until about 7:30PM. Hope to see some of you there, and thank you for your help.

The cost all depends on what you want to do! It will run like "Playland", so many coupons for each ride, event, food, etc.
