Carrollton's New Spartan Evolution

The Carrollton, Texas Fire Dept. recently took delivery of this General with a Spartan Evolution cab. This is the 1st Evolution to go in service in the D/FW metroplex. 8) 8)

No, I can not say cool rig. I dont know what Spartan was thinking when they came up with the Evolution chassis. When Simon Duplex left the business, Spartan became the default custom chassis for the independent builders. Then they came out with the Evolution. Were they trying to compete with the Quantom? Another UGLY rig.

I thought the Evolution was ugly when it first came out, but it's kinda growing on me.I'm starting to dig it. Plus any rig that says "Paramedic Engine" is ok in my book, lol!

I too thought the Evolution was FUGLY when it first came out. After seeing them in person at Fire Rescue International 2003 in Dallas, and the Carrollton one.....They've grown on me. As for the UGLIEST looking cab.....The new Rosenbauer whatever wins hands down!!! :-& :-&
