Portland, OR -Emergency Landing 11/21/05

Location: Started @ Hillsboro airport (Portland Oregen) Emergency landing @ Portland International Airport

Departments:

Description:A corporate jet carrying seven people developed landing gear problems shortly after leaving Hillsboro airport. and was preparing to make an emergency landing. The landing gear of the Gulfstream V failed to fully retract after taking off. The Plain is still in the air as of 1403 Hrs. It is try to burn off fuel for the landing.

As of 1555Hrs: The plane Landed Safely on the gound.

From Foxnews.com: the airplane made low passes over the Hillsboro runway, briefly touching the runway with the extended left landing gear and then lifting off again, apparently to jostle the other wheel down
