154.4400? What is this Frequency

When I put on 154.44 I here four sets of tones and then someone saying Cliffside FD out. Does anyone know where Cliffside FD is(Rockland, Putnum, Duchess)? I found it on mapquest, but it's somewhere I Kings County I think. So of anyone here can help me thank you.

154.44 is not a valid transmit / receive frequency. It may be "bleed ovver" you are hearing. Check 154.4000, 154.4150, 154.4300, 154.4375 and 154.445 (this one is closer) and see if the signal is better.

Are you sure it isn't CLiffside Park NJ?

I'm just guessing and I can get onto the FCC's database search site for a license. I'll keep trying for you.

I think Izzy is correct. Your better guess is an FD in NJ.

That would be 154.445 with the call sign of KED411 Cliffside park fire dept. (bergen co) .

Well that is the closest freq. CPAGE. I think we have an answer. Also Buff, you can go to the FCC's website and do a license search by frequency also. It taks a little time to manipulate but worth the efort trying to find info.
