what is that old looking ambulance that has somers patch of an elephant on it at lake mohegans structure fire the other day. i've never seen or herd of that truck before, does anyone know who owns this truck, where it is stationed and what it is used for, any info. would be greatly appreciated, thanx.

To answer your question...

That was an old Somers FD ambulance that was donated to Westchester County. The rig is used by the Westchester County Cause & Origin Team Zone-4. It is designated 1404 and is stationed at the City of Peekskill Fire Station 6, quarters of Engine-130 & 39MEDIC2.
