Firehouse.com Silence is Deafening!

Perhaps it is me, but has anyone else noticed the total lack of coverage of the NY Newsday series on Firehouse.com?

I certainly hope that is not their fear of the same large sums of money and power controlled by the same groups of people mentioned in the articles.

Firehouse.com had no problem running extensive coverage of recent fire service stories, which included:

Boston Globe series about the Boston FD

Media coverage of an isolated FDNY altercation on New Year's Eve

Coverage of every single FDNY member who was stopped for DWI

USA Today series about EMS response (particularly the DCFD)

Many others.....

I just find it interesting that the Newsday story is absent (or was as of this posting).
