Purchase fire department?

Is anyone here in the Purchase Fire Dept? I just moved back to the Purchase area from upstate NY, where I was in a vol. EMS corps for 5 years. I'm not terribly interested in getting involved with firefighting, but if they have any EMS or rescue ops (I'm a westchester-credentialed medic), I would be interested in giving that a shot. I'm not sure how it works down here, but upstate a lot of the fire depts had rescues they would roll on ems calls to back the ambulance... similar, or no?

Purchase FD does not have any type of EMS response. Some of our members are EMTs and can assist HVAC on MVA's. If you are interested call the firehouse any time (914-253-9044). We drill every wednesday at 7 pm and you're more then welcome to stop by.
