2317hrs-VFD Car 2493 en-route to Steamboat dock. Boater is on a landline w/60-Control & advised he will set off a flare for the FD. Car 2491 requesting Rockland Dept. 18 (Stony Point FD) be dispatched as well.

2318hrs-Car 2493 10-19.

2321hrs-Car 2491 advising that they have spotted the flare, it appears to be south of Verplanck IAO Georges Island (Montrose). VAFD MA28 en-route to Georges Island to launch M21.

2323hrs-Montrose FD dispatched as well. Marine-51 on the air, advising they have a full crew and will be en-route momentarily.

2325hrs-Montrose FD Car 2273 10-17.

2327hrs-MFD Cars 2271 & 2273 10-17. 60-Control requesting a landline from one MFD Chief. FDVA advising that M21 is in the water.

2329hrs-MFD M51 10-17. Car 2273 advising that a MFD FF is on his private vessel and out with the boat in distress. Boat is lost, no other problems, MFD FF will be guiding the boat in. Montrose FD R51 & M51 going 10-8.

2337hrs-All Montrose FD units going 10-8.

2341hrs-Montrose FDVA Car 2573 advising all FDVA units in service/returning.
