What type of boat are you looking for exactly? I believe the Coast Guard makes available surplus boats to Fire and Police services. You may want to give them a call. Also, I don't know who sells the Zodiac boats around here, but you may want to give that person a call to see if they have any used or demos for sale.

We are looking for a boat for fire / rescue. 20' or more. I have no idea about the knd of boats out there. I know pleasure boats, but fire/rescue boats I have no clue. We contacted the Coast Guard and they said that they are not giving any boats away what so ever. So Hilary Clinton got involved and still we didn't get anywere. :-k

A while back they purchased Garrison's old Fire Boat. It's been sitting in the yard for while.

It looks nice, just needs some work.
