I didnt get it all thats why i'll do what i can do here instead of a IA. About 0330 VMFD & VMPD were dispatched to Greacen Point Rd for a report of a house fire. VMPD car 312 O/S reporting house fully involved in the rear and through the roof. Car 315 reports to car 340 ( FD 2241) heavy fire fully involved unknow if the owners got out. Cars in driveway came back to the address. Knowing that road i can say that Greacen Point Rd is a long windy road thats rite on the waters edge and is not much wider than your usual driveway and to make matters worse the house is at the end of the dead end and had a electric iron security gate that had to be cut down before the 1st due got in the driveway. Aroud 0630 PD reports that the owners were in Mass. and that the house was undergoing remodeling and that there was nobody in the house at the time of the fire nor any household items. Under control time was around 0900. Im sure knowing the VMFD and giving all the things they had to deal with there, the men & women of VMFD did a hellva job..

Port Chester responded in with an engine and a truck. Eng-62 brooksville and harry howard hook and ladder.members from rescue 40 and eng 61 also assited those companys.it was a tough fire and dealing with collapse was even worse we had to be really careful where we stepped but we had to go in to knock it down there was an unbelievable amount of fire hidden in this house with many areas hard to get to due to the set up of the house and the collapse area. a good job was done by all and the guys desevre a pat on the back.also was good to see everyone working so good to make sure everyone stayed safe.i noticed alot of guys keeping an eye on the situation from inside and out.
