Smith and Wesson AED's

While reading through an EMS magazine today, I learned Smith and Wesson, the well known gun,police bike, and handcuff manufacturer, will be producing a line of AED's under the Smith and Wesson Heartbeat AED name. Leaves you to wonder what will bystanders think when somebody arrives at a cardiac arrest patients side and a case that says "Smith and Wesson"....

In the old days in Peekskill EMS... there were lots of Smiths & Wessons in the ambulance. None were AED's though!

Yeah....then they put in the lock boxes in the hallway. :-> I swear the bullet proof vest were to protect you from the members, noit from the natives. :twisted:

It is a different Peekskill today WAS967. I think today you have to worry more about your own leadership, then anybody you may treat in the field.

Oh it's definatly a different PCVAC from the days of yore. I work with a wonderful crew of people every Monday night there and if I had the time I would even consider rejoining. ;->
