Any inside scoop on who may build it or any of the important stuff like pump size, water ect

Not too sure about it other than a few things: its a class A engine, its an open spec (as close as you can get) custom cab, 1250 pump, 500 water and that they are trying to keep it small in size.

It's to replace Engine 125 from what I understand.

From what I am told, same thing - smaller rig to fit in some of the nice and tight areas Montrose responds to.

Current E-125 OOS.. Previous rig had mechanical problems, and was too much to fix. I believe they either sold or donated to some other Dept. This particular rig was a versatile piece of apparatus, handling MVA's and brush fires. Good luck to the boys in Montrose..
