Description Of Incident: Fire on a 95-foot tug

1510hrs- USCG on scene with a fire onboard a tug towing a fuel barge. USCG evacuated crew members. NYPD on scene. FDNY Marine 9 enroute as well as land units.

1515hrs- USCG reports firefighting efforts underway by Coast Guard and tug crew. Tug has been removed from barge.

1545hrs- Tug will be towed to Staten Island Homeport. FDNY crews being transported to tug, which is still burning.

1550hrs- 2nd Alarm transmitted Div. 8.

1610hrs- Co's putting foam lines into operation. All crew accounted for and will be evaluated by EMS. Fire is in a below grade engine room.

1650hrs- Div. 8 reports fire K/D.
