First due by address?

I was wondering if anyone knows a website where I can put an address in NYC in, and find out who is first due there? I want to find out who covers my girlfriends apt. Thanks...

Go to the NYC Map Portal:

http://gis.nyc.gov/doitt/mp/Portal.do

Type in the address

Click "My Neighborhood" when the map loads

Then click "Public Safety" when the new map loads

This will show you the police precinct and the first due engine/ladder company for a particular address & neighborhood.

I just tried that. It will show firehouse if it's on the map view that you are looking at. Also some of these map programs will show a firehouse coverage area. These are all administrative districts. For example Engine 65 covers 34/6av on the NW side. Victory Secrets being one of the locations on the corner. Complaints go to Engine 65 but Engine 1 is first due I believe. Engine 65 is 3rd due.

You would need to get the box number for the address and then get the alarm assignment.
