Description Of Incident: 60- Control dispatch Buchanan FD, with Montrose/verplanck FD on standby for possible stove fire at 199 Catherine St. 2552 on-scene nothing showing from exterior. 2552 with an update working fire in kitchen area. E-160 on scene stretching 1 3/4 line, E-161 on scene spotting hydrant and standing by. 2552 updating 2551 fire knocked down checking for extension. 2551 switching operations to Fireground #1 @1150 hrs. 2551 releasing standby units, fire contained to kitchen area, originated as a stove fire, with extension to cabinetry, walls and ceiling. All BFD units holding, in the process of checking for extension, and ventilating.
