Daylight Savings Time Extended Soon?

Well, looks like the House has passed a massive new Energy Bill. Next up is the Senate, which is expected to pass it as well.

One of the provisions of the bill extends Daylight Savings Time by three weeks earlier in March, and extends it one week until November....meaning we we will have sunlight later in the evening earlier in the Spring and later in the fall.

Energy Conservastionists say this new bill will save/conserve thousands of barrels of oil. The electric industry says it will conserve power However, the Airline industry says it will screw up their operations, as does Canada.

Pretty interesting news. I'm not sure how/when the DST change will take place.
