0210hrs- Orig. report of shots fired outside a church, first unit on scene confirming shots fired then transmitting a 10-13 for officers down.

0230hrs- (2) P.O.'s shot and returned fire hitting suspect multiple times. (1) Officer shot (7) times to the back and at least once to the head. Second P.O. shot (5) times in the leg/femur and at least once to the arm. Officers were shot multiple times by buckshot rounds from a pump action shotgun.

0700hrs- Both officers reported to be in critical but stable condition at Long Island Jewish Hospital.
