Ossining- Boat in Distress 7-16-05

Date: 7-16-05

Time: 1748hrs

Location: Hudson River- 1 mile south of Scarborough railroad bridge.

Description: Vessel struck submerged rock and began to sink approx. 50 yards from shorline.

Units: Yonkers Police Marine #1, Rockland County Sheriff's Marine #3

1755hrs- Private vessel reporting vessel, occupied by two, sinking near the rocks off Scarborough railroad bridge. Sea Tow, YPD Marine #1 and Rockland Sheriff's all enroute.

1810hrs- Private vessel has removed (2) persons on board sinking boat.

1815hrs- All services on scene. Occupants RMA'd at scene with YPD. Vessel partially submerged and will be salvaged by Sea Tow.
