0035hrs- TL-71 reporting shots being fired in front of quarters and a large fight in street. FD rpts suspect with gun running north on Palisade Ave.

0036hrs- Numerous PD units enroute. YFD rpts shell casings all over the street with a group also running south on New School.

0037hrs- R/C 401 has suspect running into projects who just threw a gun to the ground between Buildings 1 and 2.

0038hrs- R/C 401 and 402 in pursuit of black male suspect through Schroder St. Projects and has jumped fence to Walsh Rd.

0039hrs- ESU officer in pursuit in the creek along Walsh Rd.

0040hrs- Units have male suspect surrounded in creek off Walsh Rd. No K-9 available.

0041hrs- Suspect is running in creek with Walsh Rd. on one side and War Memorial Field on other.

0042hrs- Suspect fighting police in creek. Numerous units responding.

0044hrs- Units have (1) in custody. Req. ESU Truck 2 with ground ladder to remove perp.

0046hrs- PD req. Empress to scene for injured P.O. R/C 410 (Sgt.) rpts holding all 3rd and 4th PCT units for large crowds in area of crime scene and Walsh Rd.

0052hrs- Crime Scene Unit rpts numerous shell casings in the street on New School and Palisade Ave. Possibly more than one shooter.

0104hrs- PD transporting a second injured P.O. to St. John's Hospital.
