Description: Collapse of a 25x275 building (old Gristede's Supermarket) that was being prepared for demolition. 1/2/3/9 Subways shut down in the area. Debris is into roadway at least 3 lanes wide.

At least 5 pedestrians injured, taken to St. Luke's

FF's and PD units using buckets and milk crates to clear bricks.

K9 units on scene.

FDNY units from other Boros coming in to cover stations.

1030: Second Alarm, bringing 3 and 3 to staging area on Broadway, just north of scene.

1035: 3 and 3 are as follows: E 37/59/91, L 23/35/43

1036: BC requesting all trains on Broadway line be shut down.

1039: Manhattan requesting Field Comm to take over Communications for this incident.

1050: Field Comm advising Manhattan that Mobile Command Center 2 is in operation.
