Anyone know how to program a Motorola M1225 radio to scan?

I have a moblie M1225 radio. Does anyone know how to set up the scanning?

Assuming it is programmed to scan--if you press and hold the scan button till u hear a beep then when the display flashes scan--press a to add channels and b (for your priority)--when finished pess scan again to exit the program mode. Press scan again to enter scan mode--that is if it is programmed similar to the ones I have. If not you can always get it programmed via pc with the appropriate cable and software.

Don't forget that your microphone holder clip needs to be grounder, and the mic needs to be in the clip for the radio to scan.
