The fireworks were last night off Cummings Beach Park in Stamford harbor. Engine Co. #4 was relocated to Our Lady Star of the Sea parking lot (Shippan Avenue) to cover the Shippan Point area, Engine #8 (Reserve) was activated with 4 members and stationed in Cummings Park along with SEMS units and many SPD units. The department's 41' fireboat was also on patrol in the harbor. I was not working last night but they usually also relocate Engine #6 (HQ) into the Cove section of the city.

Port Chester FD stands by every year with 3-4 engines for the village's fireworks display on the lawn of the highschool. They are monday night.
