Putnam EMS coordinator resigns abruptly

CARMEL – Putnam County EMS Coordinator Casey Quake has resigned from his position as of Friday, January 21.  Quake has been the subject of criticism from several fire departments and EMS personnel for his involvement in changing the county’s EMS ambulance service early this year.

 

Mid-Hudson News submitted a FOIL request to Putnam County EMS and County Executive MaryEllen O’Dell in December regarding the change in EMS service and the background of Quake.  Putnam officials, in violation of state law, have failed to respond to the legal request.
