Yonkers will give Mount Vernon two firetrucks in exchange for Mount Vernon's dropping legal claims against Yonkers.

 

The Yonkers City Council is scheduled to vote on the deal Tuesday night.

 

Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano said that Mount Vernon's claims against Yonkers are related to Yonkers' hiring of public safety personnel that Mount Vernon paid to train in academies.
