MONROE, N.C. (April 26, 2017) – In response to customers’ requests for a more automated, simpler way to manage Air-Pak® data, Scott Safety today announced the launch of its Scott Connect Monitor software solution. Monitor is an easy-to-understand air management solution designed to put critical, real-time responder SCBA data at incident command’s fingertips.

 

Leveraging Scott Safety’s patented SEMS II personnel accountability system, Monitor allows the incident commander or team leader to see air level, PASS, and EVAC data on a user-friendly dashboard. Users can toggle between two displays, allowing them to view the Air-Pak data of their entire team or only be alerted if something is wrong. And since Scott Connect Monitor utilizes SEMS II data, it is compatible with any Air-Pak X3, Air-Pak 75, or Air-Pak NxG7 equipped with SEMS II consoles.

“Software on a fire scene should be intuitive, reliable, and complement incident command’s SOGs without requiring a lot of overhead,” said John Dinning, associate director of firefighter solutions for Scott Safety. “The beauty of Monitor lies in its simplicity. SCBA data automatically connects to the Monitor solution and immediately notifies of critical alerts, augmenting commands control over the incident.”
