Fire Department Builds "Mayday House"

A training structure specifically intended for "Mayday" training. Interesting.

The two-story home with white fiber-cement siding is not much to look at from the outside.

It was built to be sturdy, not pretty.

The 1,800-square-foot home on Trench Hill Lane in Spotsylvania County is actually a training facility for firefighters learning how to save themselves or their partners during life-threatening situations. It is called mayday training.

Certainty an excellent idea. However, unless I'm missing something, it's not much different than a conventional "smoke house." I see the Denver prop built in which is nice. However, that could be easily built in almost any training facility.
