Sutphen Introducing Rear Mount Aerial At FDIC

Sutphen will be announcing a new line of rear mount aerials at FDIC tomorrow.

 

This is significant because, in the 100+ year history of Sutphen, they have never produced anything other then a midmount.

But Sutphen has disappointed me. It was introduced hours ago, and still nothing on their website. They are losing on their ability to capitalize on this positive publicity and the traffic it brings to their site.

It's very coincidental that Tom Sutphen passed away last year, and now they are coming out with a rear mount. I have always heard that Tom Sutphen always held by his belief that a mid mount was far superior. But it now looks like the Seagrave Meanstick and other have some more competition.

Sorry to hear Tom Sutphen passed away, he was one energetic old timer, hard to keep up with him. Always enjoyed his company.
