Empress recently placed into service these 2 2015 Ford F-350/AEV Type I ambulances for the Westchester Medical Center Critical Care Transport contract.

Is this the evolution of the STAT Team? I assume they still do some in house stuff. Any idea who runs and staffs it now?

Yes. An Empress EMS EMT and Critical Care Paramedic, as well as a Nurse. In the case of a neonatal transport, a Neonatal Fellow. If on a respirator, sometimes a Respiratory Tech will accompany.
