The show sucks, It is total BS. Too much drama, Give me a break, thats not real world. [-X the guy has a cow because all he responds to are car fires. Grow up. He Gives Firefighters all over a bad rap. not all firefighters are Drunk, cheating, womanizers, the show is not truthful, they should be ashamed of themselves.

I just think its funny that they talk about how slow Staten

Island is and they had two working fires the other day. irony at its best.

Has anyone noticed in tonight's episode that 62 Truck is now using a tower ladder, when both last week and in the opening credits it's an E-One straight stick? Also, in the scene where Lt. Shea is talking to the Chief, the truck has the number 73 on the door.

It was real nice to hear them tell how they made up stories about their injuries so they could "get chicks"

and i thought i was seeing things! #-o

why are they doing that? is it that they rent the truck or somthing and they can't get it all the time?...third watch always had the same truck...they did switch from ladder 55 to squad 55 but that was about it. anyone have the goods on why we keep getting a different 62 truck?

It's a TV Show. Lets not go crazy on what truck they use for a particule episode.

The show's prop master is having trouble securing a ladder truck on a regular basis. They shoot the show in a firehouse in nassau county and in queens. FDNY will not allow the show to use FDNY apparatus outside the city limits. Apparently, they rent apparatus an a regular basis depending what's available from the spare pool. They also do not like using the FDNY apparaus because the fixed cabs make it very hard to film. They would much perfer a tilt cab. I was told that if the show gets picked up for a 3rd season, they will be in purchasing permenant show apparatus. Also the seagrave engine is a real FDNY apparatus on loan from Seagrave. Hope this helps
