Firefighting a hot topic at Greenwich budget meeting

First Selectman Peter Tesei and a number of residents pressed Board of Estimate and Taxation members on Monday night to approve longstanding plans for more firefighters throughout town and a station for northwest Greenwich, as the finance board kicked off its review of proposed spending for the next fiscal year.
