Yeah NAFTA is North American Free Trade Agreement i.e. Mexico and Canada, not China. These hoverboards were produced in China. Your problem is with the illegal importation of non-UL rated electronics by China.

CNN had a story on this a few days ago. They have been catching fire while being charged and in use.

Fox news just reported that there have been at least 10 reports of fires, one person claims it caught fire as he was riding on it, another claims it burned his house down. The airlines are refusing to take them on board.
