That's what I put in my post, a rumor and probably nothing more. The county assignments say Engine 52 is reserved for West Harrison though. Any history or significance with that number?

Out of curiosity, how does a department get numbers in the 50's and the 260's for engine companies? I thought departments got blocks of numbers that were all together.
