I believe 1 of the Captains is acting Chief. They use to have a part time Chief. Prior to that it was a volunteer Chief.

I heard it through a friend in Pelham. That's what I'm trying to find out.

I thought I had heard a while back that Pelham didn't have any more volunteers due to the lack of interest of the community, and that carrying the volunteers was too expensive for their insurance.

Call me ignorant, but what is the difference between Pelham and Palham Manor? I'm truly not familiar with them. And what is the paid staffing like with either department?

Two different village departments in the Town of Pelham. The Manor has 3-4 Career on duty. I believe Pelham has 3 on duty (correct me if I'm wrong).
