Garrison VAC Looking For Per-Diem EMT

Garrison VAC is looking for a per-diem EMT for flexible shifts as needed. The shifts are 0600-1800, or 1800-0600 daily. Garrison is located on Route 9 in Putnam County just north of the Westchester border. There are newer rigs, stretchers with the power up and down feature, a kitchen, and a recently redone new day room with TV and new furniture. There is WiFi, as well as a bunkroom.

Minimum Qualifications:

21+ years of age (to drive)

1-2+ years active 911 experience

Flexible availability

Good navigational skills

Comfortable operating ambulances down very narrow roads, driveways and in other tricky situations.

All employees are held to a high standard.
