New Yorktown Heights FD Dive Rescue Truck

On 1/21/2015, YHFD took delivery of a 2015 LDV, Freightliner Chassis. This replaces the old, outdated, and under powered Rescue 55 which was a 1990 Freightliner that was re-purposed in 2009 from an old Snap-On-Truck, to a Dive / Water Rescue Vehicle, hand built by our volunteer firefighters. Over the next few days, members will be Driver trained on it, and the apparatus will be placed into service. Additional pictures and more information about the Water Rescue Team's capabilities will be posted once the apparatus is fully in service
