Westchester County EMS Annual Awards 2015: Call For Nominations

After the huge success of the past few years, the Westchester Regional EMS Council (WREMSCO) will continue to combine our two very popular awards programs (EMS Awards and EMS Appreciation Day) into one event. The formal awards program with a small reception will be held earlier than usual this year on Thursday, May 14, 2015. At this one ceremony, all the awards will be presented.

The requirements for qualifying and submitting for all our awards will remain the same as in previous years. Please see the attached Categories and Rules for both the EMS Awards (EMT of the Year, Paramedic of the Year, etc.) and the EMS Service Awards (Lifesaving, Meritorious Service, etc.) for a more defined description of the awards and the requirements. All nominations for all the awards must be postmarked no later than MARCH 13^th to be considered. Please note the submission date and the date of the event are earlier this year.

The EMS Awards and EMS Service Awards Applications must be based on events occurring during the calendar year of 2014. Please remember, it is the responsibility of the nominator to verify the correct spelling of the first and last name of the candidate(s).

Please note that this notice will be the only format you will be receiving in regards to the nomination application, descriptions and eligibility criteria for the categories, and the rules and regulations of the awards program. The information will not be mailed by USPS. All the forms can be downloaded from the REMSCO website, www.wremsco.org. APPLICATIONS MUST BE TYPEWRITTEN TO BE CONSIDERED.
