15 new Probationary Police Officers to be sworn in to the YPD tomorrow morning.

The City of Yonkers Police Department will be conducting a hiring ceremony tomorrow at 10:00 a.m. at the Will Library auditorium located at 1500 Central Park Avenue. Fifteen Probationary Police Officers will be sworn in to the Yonkers Police Department. Mayor Mike Spano and Deputy Chief Francis Intervallo will be present in addition to other members of the department. Family, friends, and members of the public are also invited to attend the ceremony and welcome our new Officers. These recruits will enter the Westchester County Police Academy for an intensive course of instruction on law and tactics. The names of the Probationary Police Officers will be released tomorrow after the ceremony.
