Traumatic Brain Injury

(ALS Core)

Course Description:

Join Jeff Meade, EMT-P/CIC/RF, in reviewing the Guidelines for Pre-Hospital Management of Severe Traumatic Brain Injury as published by the Brain Trauma Foundation in New York. This presentation will focus on the evidence – based BLS and ALS management of head injury with a particular focus on pharmacological therapy.

This course may be applied toward ALS Trauma or ALS General Elective CME hours for Paramedics under the NY State DOH EMS Continuing Education Recertification Program.
