New Westchester firefighters graduate from academy

They'll serve with Eastchester, Greenville, Hartsdale, New Rochelle, Scarsdale, White Plains

Nineteen fire recruits from six Westchester departments graduated from the Westchester County Career Chiefs Fire Academy on Friday.

The graduation exercise took place at the Support Services Building of the Westchester County Department of Emergency Service in Valhalla.

The firefighters are going to work for the Eastchester, Greenville, Hartsdale, New Rochelle, Scarsdale and White Plains fire departments

The academy graduates are:

Eastchester: Mark Cleary, John Howes, Joseph Lucente Jr. and John Vernazza.

Greenville: David Kane and Peter Keating.

Hartsdale: John Kenny.

New Rochelle: Louis Bongo III, Neil Brown, John Cestone, John Cioffoletti, Joseph Dizenzo and Frank Vallelonga.

Scarsdale: Christopher Feineis and William Folkerts.

White Plains: Michael Bucci, Connor Dillon, Thomas Dooley and Jake Douglass.
